Here is my big news – I have a novella out on February 20th next year as part of the QuickReads, Reading Agency project which has had the breath of life blown into it by Jojo Moyes who rescued this wonderful worthwhile project from death last year.

The literacy levels are dire in this country and the government needs to do more to up them. This project is not a ‘nice-to-have’ it is NEEDED and I’m so proud to be part of it.  I was really honoured to be asked to write a novella for it for people who want to read books but struggle, or need help getting back into reading.

I have written a story about a life-changing weekend in Amsterdam.  Jo, Pip and Vicky are taking their friend Lara on a mini-break hen do to Amsterdam three weeks before her wedding to Freddie, the loveliest man on the planet.  But the last time Lara was three weeks away from her wedding, she was jilted by her musician boyfriend.  Is that the reason why she feels so jittery… or has fate got something up its sleeve for her, involving a blast from the past her heart wasn’t expecting!
A story of friendship and self-discovery and realising that dreams don’t have to be big to be worthwhile… they just have to be YOURS.
