Lift Me Up is now on general release from May 1 for only £1.99 in the UK. It’s a quarter length novel, NOT a full-length one. And it’s available in the US, NZ, Australia, Canada… many, many places over the globe.
My lovely Colleen has done the audio version which I listened to on the train and my she has done a smashing job – though doesn’t she always.
It’s the story of Tam (in case you were wondering, her name is a hybrid of her mother and father Samantha and Thomas – they are THAT pretentious!) and her brother’s name is quite deliberately spelt Jame and not James (as in Jame who is in the Silence of the Lambs, so you can guess he ain’t going to be a nice person!). Tam is on the countdown to her wedding to handsome, accomplished Harris. All is good in Tam’s world, until she is ousted from the top seat in her job to make way for the famous whizz kid Jack Cesaroni, who she detests. But then she gets trapped in a lift with him… and that changes EVERYTHING.
If you do read it and enjoy it, a little review on Amazon (or Goodreads – or BOTH) would be fantastic pretty please. They really do work magic, so thank you in advance. I make no apologies for writing about women who find themselves on the wrong path and I (waves magic wand) help them find the right one. You can read a little bit more about why I like to do that on my SUBSTACK.
I am heartily delighted that it is topping the charts in the UK and the US. I’m not allowed to tell you how many times it’s been downloaded but it’s shedloads. It’s riding so high – bobbing in and out of the top ten overall charts and I have no idea why but I’m chuffed to bits. Hopefully that will bring me some more readers.
